Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

A condition characterized by an inability to focus attention or to inhibit impulsive, hyperactive behavior; it is associated with behavior that results in poor performance in educational, social, or work settings. The disorder is typically diagnosed in childhood, but symptoms can persist into adulthood for some people.

 Symptoms: Inattention, hyperactivity, impulsiveness, fidgeting

The prevalence of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) among the general population is difficult to determine, and depends largely on the diagnostic criteria used and the population studied. (Block et. al, 2019)
