Assessments determine the necessity of occupational therapy services. Through the use of clinical observation, parent interview (for social, medical and developmental milestone history), standardized and non-standardized tests, our therapists assess the client's fine and gross motor skills, range of motion, muscle strength, self-care skills, coordination, cognition, perceptual skills, and sensory processing.
After interpreting the collected data, a detailed report is written, consisting of the client's present level of performance, goals, and recommendations. Parents get to review evaluation reports and share concerns or questions.
